- Automatic suspend does not work inside MCE
- Posted by Jan-Erik on April 6th, 2006
When I set the suspend to for example 10 minutes, it does not activate
inside MCE.
But if I close MCE, back to windows, the auto suspend function works.
How can I get the computer to suspend if there has been no user-activity for
some time inside MCE?
Sincerely

I guess if it is still showing live TV, it wouldn't suspend? There seems to
be some debate that if you have watched live TV, then even if you have
stopped it, it stops suspend, but I don't think I have ever experienced that,
There was a mind blowing fix for not going into standby described here -
http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archi...05/525274.aspx . I have the
MCE menu sounds turned off anyway (first thing I did) - I would have thought
it may be worth a go.
Good luck
