Can I Upgrade Win XP Pro to Media Centre 2005 or will it actually
downgrade it in DOMAIN connectivity facility?
I've read that Media centrre 2004 upgraded to 2005 retains the Domain
connectivity (as a pre-existent feature and doens't get downgraded),
does it work the same for Win XP Pro?

Windows XP Media Center cannot upgrade over any
existing Windows operating system. It must be installed
"clean" on a reformatted drive.

On a fresh install of MCE you can connect to DOMAIN on first install or if
you fail to connect first time for some reason or have an existing install
