- Cannot download guide (code: 3)

"The guide could not be downloaded for the following reason: Windows system
error (Code: 3) Select help fo more information."
All connectivity seems to be in order- anyone have more data on what code: 3
means?

MC error indicated that code:3 was BITS.
Tried to start BITS service manually and got a series of errors that
provided no additional information.
Tried to install BITS update, but SP2 was already installed.
Re-installed XP SP2 - BITS starts, Media Guide downloads correctly.
Problem solved.

6 months ago I had the same prob with BITS and gave up in frustration
maybe I'll try what you did
BTW when you reinstalled SP2 did you uninstall it first before reinstalling
it?
