- Dual HDTV Tuner?

Is it possible to have a dual HDTV tuner on a PC with Windows Media Center?
Thanks for the help.

Yes. Rollup Update 2 adds official support for dual HDTV tuners. You will still need an analog tuner installed, in order to set up the HDTV tuners, I believe.

What about using media center for Dual Monitorouput and HDTV. I currently get
my HDTV via roof top antenna. I'm thinking about creating a home theater
where I have my big screen HDTV and two additional smaller, say 26", HDTVs
setup. My current big screen HDTV will still be fed by my RCA HDTV tuner,
and the two smaller ones could be fed with the media center PC. This would
also be great for Sunday football watching! Before I invest in a media
center PC can this be done?
Thanks,
James

I don't use a dual monitor setup, so I can't speak to how the MCE interface behaves. I would assume that there is some provision for having the MCE image on both TV's at the same time. However, feeding them both off of the MCE machine that they both show the same thing. You can't show different channels independently with a local connection. When the XBox 360 comes out, it will support streaming HDTV from the MCE machine to an HDTV set.

Hi,
Media Center supports dual monitors - You can drag the window between them,
but the experience is best on the primary monitor. It can get less than
optimal performance wise on non-primary monitors. You can only have one
primary monitor.
I suggest an extender, but I am not sure how that will work with HD.
