- DVD created in MCE will not play on home DVD player

I cannot get a DVD created in MCE to play on my home DVD player. Anyone know
what's wrong?

When you created the DVD in Media Center, did you have a choice between Data
DVD, Video DVD, and slide show? If not, then you don't have the Sonic
Encoders that are necessary to create a video DVD.

So how do you get hold of the Sonic Encoders to achieve this and are they
expensive?
thanks in advance

Sadly, Sonic apparently won't sell it to individuals...only OEMs. I hear
there are copies floating around, but of course that would be stealing
(nudge nudge wink wink). You might contact them and see if they'll sell you
one...

Thanks Dana
I will give this a go. perhaps as an IT Company and active MSDN subscriber,
they may treat me as an OEM... Worth a go at least..... if not i will go
looking for those floating copies (which i won't be downloading of course ;-)
)
