- dvd playback

i have my dvd collection stored on a terabyte station.windows media player
will play these dvd from files,but media centre wont.it says no decoder
installed or decoder malfunction.can anyone help

You need a Media Center compatible DVD Decoder.
This download will tell you if you have an MCE 2005 compatible decoder installed.

THANKS.I DOWNLOADED NEW DECODER NOW WORKS FINE.I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH
TV.I HAVE A TV CARD INSTALLED WHICH WORKS FINE.WHEN I SWITCH TO MCE IT SAYS
NO CARD OR DRIVERS INSTALLED.
