Error Code: 0x80072EE2

For a few weeks now I have not been able to login to any secure websites such
as Discovercard.com, McAfee.com and I receive the error code 0x80072EE2 when
I use Windows Update. After a full format and fresh install of WinXP Pro
Full OEM, I am still haveing the same problem. I have read the Microsoft
Support pages on this error code and none of the suggested fixes have done
anything to remotely resolve the problem. This has never happend before on
previous installs of Windows on this same computer.

I am running a custom built computer by me, so please do not suggest to call
my computers manufacturer. I have allready reinstalled Explored 7.0, reset
all it's settings to default and I have a shortcut to my Temporary Internet
Files Folder which I empty many times a day.

My system specs:

WINDOWS: WinXP PRO Full OEM SP2 V.2002
MOBO: ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe
CPU: AMD 64X2 4800+
MEM: 2GB Corair XMS Extreme DDR 400 W/LED Readouts
VIDEO: 2 BFG Tech 7900GTX's in SLI Mode

REPOST: I just reinstalled my computer again for the 2nd time in 2 days and
the same problem is happening. The only software installed on the computer
after installing Windows were the motherboard and video drivers then I went
to Windows Update. Immediately after the update search I get the error code
of 0x80072EE2. This has never happend before on a fresh install of Windows
and my copy of Windows is legal and registered!!! Microsoft phone support
service is a joke!!! I called them and they won't help me unless I pay
$59.99 (because it's an OEM version of XP I bought online, 100%
LEAGALLY!!!!!) for a support session that is not gonna gaurntee a fix. Phone
support service for ANY COMPANY is a F%$KING JOKE and is wasting tons of time
out of my life!!!! MICROSOFT, FIX MY F%$KING COMPUTER!!!!!
