I just recently bought a Dell lap top with Windows XP. I took the documents
from my old computer and loaded them onto the lap top along with some other
programs. Occasionally, but not always, when I shut down my computer I get an
error message that says, "The referenced memory ...... (it displays some
numbers which mean nothing to me) The memory could not be written." Then a
box for Explorer pops up that says it's waiitng for instructions from me -
like it's still running or something. When I click "end now" on that box it
disappears along with the error message and the computer then shuts down
normally. I've also had another error message pop up that says, "ccAP.exe
application error" but that one doesn't happen as often. If anyone could help
with this I would appreciate it. I feel it may have something to do with the
documents I loaded from my old computer. Thanks!
