- Help! My files always appear in reverse order!
- Posted by Chris S. on April 14th, 2006
I have had this edition of windos for the past 8 months. Recently my files
always show up in a dialog box in reverse alphabetical order. Nothing I do
fixes the problem. It is not critical, but it is VERY annoying. I've nver
had this happen before. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Open up Windows Explorer and navigate to the directory. Click the title bar
that says Name. It will reverse the sort. Close Explorer.

This works if you're viewing details. If not, right click on a blank
area of the file panel and chose Arrange Icons By | Name, which will
re-reverse the sort order. Or you could go to viewing details and do
what Tom said :-)
