How do I make my Windows XP Media Center show the subtitles (in *.srt format)
when playing my *.avi files. When using Media Player and other players, the
subtitle is ok. But Media Center don't read/show the subtitle. Am I to
convert the *.srt to another subtitle format?

You cant, you need to other Program on the internet whcih do that or you just
find avi file encoded with the Subs.
