Analog TV cable in to HP z560

All updates loaded; all drivers updated

Set-up as 4.1 audio out-put. One set of powered speakers connected to HP
z560 audio "front out"; another set of powered speakers connected to HP z560
audio "surround out". DVD & CD play well in 4.1.

An anomaly: Live TV audio will not work in 4.1 set-up; audio will only come
out through the "front out" speakers. Oddly, recorded TV will play back
(rather well) through all speakers in 4.1. Also, streaming Internet video and
audio will only play audio through the "front out" speakers. But, Internet
radio run through the MC interface plays through all speakers in 4.1! Strange.

Not a life-or-death situation, but the audio in 4.1 is much more enjoyable.
Any suggestions?
