Logging incoming calls

Is it possible to do that with the media center alert that I get each time
we receive an incoming call?

Yes, Media Center supports Caller ID, if you have a compatible modem installed.

I think she's asking if the incoming calls can be logged to
a file. I don't believe it can be done, unless there is a
plug-in that I'm not aware of.
