- Media Center 5 - Recording Issues - No Audio for schedule recordin
- Posted by Jq on January 22nd, 2006
I have a XPS Dell 400 with Media Center 5. I scheduled and recorded a show
with my computer turned on (on stand by mode) and for some reason there is
image but no sound; how can I solve this problem?

Check to see that you have the latest tv tuner drivers installed.
What TV Tuner card did it come with?

Hi Jason,
Thanks for answering so quickly. :-)
* I have ATI as a Graphics Card Manufacturer
*256mb Hiper Memory PCI-Express X16 - radeon X600 SE
* Dell 13 in 1 Media card reader
Is that it? Let me know if I miss something.
Recording and watch TV at the same time is Ok; the problem is when I
scheduled to record with the computer in stand by mode.

Adding to this description, it's important to say that the "no audio" with
Live TV image is also happening when I am for some time using the internet /
the computer without turning on the media center.
