- Media Center Edition x64?
- Posted by DaveK on March 10th, 2006
I started playing with the OEM versions of XP in my AP, and thought that
since x64 PCs are becoming more widespread, and Media center is based on XP
Pro, is there some way to set up a Media center PC with a 64-bit base OS? I
attempted it this morning (installed XP-x64 and tried the MCE key), but it
didn't work (not really a big surprise). Any ideas if it's possible?
Thanks

No it's not. The first 64 bit MCE will be a version of Vista
