- Mediacenter MP4 playback
- Posted by miro on April 7th, 2008
Here we go again.... an old topic.
I did a lot of resarch on how to play MP4 video files on Windows
Vista. At this point I am able to play MP4's with Windows Media Player
with no problem. I use ffdshow codec to decopress files. In order to
see these files in my Windows Media Center, I used a "Green Button"
registri hack. I can see all my files listed in "My Videos".
However, I can not play non of them. The error is "Cannot Play Video,
Windows Media Center cannot open file".
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit version. Colud this be a
problem?
Thank you for any suggestion.
