I believe my topic before may have been confusing so let me try to explain
again.
If I am playing music through My Music and I attempt to play a DVD that I
have saved to my computer by using either My Videos or the My Movies plugin,
the music stops playing by the DVD does not play. In fact, the window at the
bottom left shows the STOPPED image. Then when I navigate over to the video
box to expand it to full screen I get the standard options for ejecting,
playing, restarting, title screen, etc. but none of those options work.
From this point on there is nothing I can do to get DVDs in the My Videos
folder to play. However, if close Media Center and re-open it then I can
play DVDs and switch between them as much as I want to. The only time my
DVDs stop working is once I've started playing music. I've tried stopping
the music before playing the DVDs but it doesn't help.
I would appreciate any advice you can give.
