What TV Tuner card do you have?
Are you using the latest drivers for your TV Tuner card?

Never assume it is the latest driver.
Find out what tv card you have in your device manager (it'll be under the
Sound, Audio and Video device category) and post back.

Just because a computer is newly purchased is no guarantee that you have the
latest drivers.
Can you go to your Device Manager and see what TV tuner card you have. We
can probably direct you to the latest driver version with that information.
Thanks

Download Everest Home Edition - it's free and will tell you what's inside
your PC. I've been using Everest and its predecessor Aida32 for years.

I installed Everest and can't for the life of me find a listing for my
TV tuner card (Dell XPS Media center edition). And I have the same
problem originally noted, poor TV picture through tuner card.
Thanks.
