RE: Composite 2 Inputs - Useless?

You know I have got the same problem you have. When call Hp support they
want to connect you up to a pay as you go service for assistance. Seems kind
of strange when you have a new computer and a imput jack does nothing and is
not covered in any of the information with the computer. I have started the
email question concerning this problem to see what they have to say. In
looking at the info enclosed to use a camera they only show usb for firewire
and only talk of digital. No where to they cover the composite imput jack.
A way to solve the problem would be to get a composite to usb converter which
is under $50. It is a waste if the computer will do it with the magic
command. I have had thoughts of opening the pc up and take a look at the
board, It may have a option via switch or pins.
