- Re: Which Hauppauge Card - 250MCE or 350?

When you say you use the pvr-350 with MCE and it works fine, does that
include the TV-out from the pvr-350. I use my pvr-350 and MCE and everything
works fine except for the TV-out. If it does work for you did you have to do
anything to get it working?
THanks,

Why not the 150? From what I understand, the 150 and 500 offer the latest
chips. The 350 has a feature (video out) that isn't really supported by
almost anything, so doesn't add anything.
Personally, I'd go with the PVR USB2. No need to crack the case.

The TV-out of the Hauppauge WinTV PVR350 is not supported by MCE. It is
supported with Hauppauge's own application WinTV2000 & also by the free media
center alternative GB-PVR www.gbpvr.com

When you say not supported by MCE should the tv-out function still work with
wintv2000. I still use wintv2000 though I no longer can use the tv-out
function when using wintv2000, (the colors are very distorted). I know it
isn't supported by MCE but should I still be able to use the tv-out function
with wintv2000?
thanks,
