messenger and Media Center
Posted by greg on May 8th, 2008

I just did a clean install after SP3 destroyed my registry. I have disabled
messenger, but Media Center is still trying to find it, even though I have
turned it off in Media Center as per this post:

if you don't use it, you can go into Settings in Media Center (Settings,
Messenger and Caller ID) and uncheck the Messenger option.

Thanks,
greg

You may remove Windows Messenger.

I already removed it, but Media center is still trying to find it.
What should I do now?
Thanks,

greg
