- recordings quit too soon
- Posted by Saul Candib on October 18th, 2005
Several times now, when I set a one-hour TV show to record, the recording
seems to stop in the middle. Maybe half of the show gets recorded. This is a
show that is set for "record entire season"--and other shows with the same
setting have recorded successfully.
However, even the though the recording has stopped, the little orange
"recording in progress" icon remains in the tray--and it's still there 12
hours later! The Stop Recording command doesn't work.
Then, when I attempt to open MCE, it opens but freezes. I have to use Task
Manager to end Media Center, and then I wind up rebooting. Not a good
scenario.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything I can do about it?
