- Relation between "My Video in MCE" and "Windows Media Player"

I have an English MCE 2005.
With playing a movie using Windows Media Player, Korean subtitle (vis .smi
file) plays well. However, with MCE2005 "My Video" subtitle shows up broken.
It seems like an encoding issue, but I'm not sure where to look at.
Anyone who can help me out on this issue?
