- Remote Control IR receiver
- Posted by Marcello Scotti on January 22nd, 2006
Hello people,
is there a way to use the Media Center WITHOUT having to plug
the IR receiver as I DO NOT want to use MC with it ??
Why does Bill keeps on being SO pushy about making us use whatever
he wants us to use ?? Why doesn´t he make it soooo easy that everyone
would like to use these kind of new inventions?
thanks in advance,
Marcello

Sure, just use your STB remote to change the channel all the time. You'll
then need to check your channel selection in the Guide so what you're
watching/recording is matching for information.
The convenience is you can change the channel on the STB by using the MCE
remote or the MCE keyboard, and your channel display/program information
will match the feed on the STB.
