- retrieving protected data

my computer messed up today i believe it may have been a hacker, but anyway,
i had to install windows again but i managed to do it along side what i
already have in here, the problem is, my documents were protected, and i have
some important stuff there, now when i try to access them i just get an error
message...is there any way to save my stuff?

thanks for your help...every problem ive ever had i come here...i see people
