I also have a problem with my scanner Its a microtek slimscan c3
my computer tell me it found new hardware but when i try to download the
software it tells me cant find the SCSIMAP.SYS file and it shows a window
asking me where it is
C;/ windows/servicepackfiles quess i am missing something
can anyone that can help???

Uninstall the scanner driver and then reinstall it.
