- Silver Media Centre Theme?
- Posted by mcbacon@gmail.com on October 14th, 2005
Hi, I just re-installed Windows Media Centre 2005, and it seemed very
odd, I went to look at a screen shot I took prior to format, and it
shows I had a silver theme.

After much searching through microsoft's site and other download sites,
I sitll cannot find this, so if anyone could link me up I'd be totally
grateful.
Thanks for reading, Mark

There is a silver theme (and an olive) included with all versions of XP -
always has been. I don't know if there is a MCE-specific version of this
theme though.
Now some questions for you:
1. What is that side bar you have that has WMP on top, email, IM, etc... Is
it something from Google?
2. What app is throwing that grey/black pop-up above your task bar?

Hi, thanks for the help, but that is a silver verison of luna, i need a
silver version of Energy Blue.
My sidebar is google Dekstop 2
The music ap is a "Toaster" plugin for winamp
I'd totally reccomend both, but the sidebar takes up quite a chunk of
memory.

Hi, thanks for the help but that is silver for luna, I am looking for
an energy blue look-alike.
the sidebar is Google Dekstop 2, loads of plugins, intergrates nicely
with google talk and runs smoothly, uses quite a bit of memory though.
The pop-up is a "toaster" plugin for winamp, fades in at the start of a
song.
They can be found in google labs and winamp.
Hope someone can help my silver searching!

That's not Media Center with the 'silver' theme.
That's Media Player
You don't have Media Center open on the screenshot that you provided.
You can adjust the colours of the Media Player skin within Media Player.
