- takbar buttons

hi,
im not sure what i did but now every time i open a program its tab does not
come up on the taskbar at the bottom of the screens, plz help cos now i hav 2
open different screens through the task manager which is very annoying

Are you seeing the task bar at all or just not seeing the running tasks?
BTW, In the meantime ALT-Tab is the easier way to switch between programs.

im just not seeing the running tasks, i can c the start button, quickpaunch
buttons, the clock and the icons next to it.

I've seen some problems with wrong programs displayed on the taskbar and the
fix was to turn off the "group similar buttons" in the Properties settings
for the taskbar. You could try that and you also might want to post on an XP
group rather than this one that specializes in Media Center, you might find
someone with the same problem.
