Is there a way? Say I want to record a program @ night is there a way yet to
set the settings to come on by it's self and record a program or do you just
have to leave it on?

The best way and comman practice for Media Center users is leave the PC
on at all times.

There is a setting in the BIOS which can turn your computer automatically on
certain time. Look for it in the Power Management section of your BIOS.
