- Tv guide available in UK?
- Posted by kishan on December 2nd, 2005
hi, im thinking of buying a MEdia Center PC with Windows XP MCE installed.
the key thing im interested in is the support for dual tuners and also the tv
guides. however im a little confused whether the tv guide is supported if im
living in the UK. when i looked at microcoft uk site it advertised MCE as
having a tv guide and also had a picture showing the guide on BBC One which
is a terrestrial channel over here. you can see this if you watch the demo
link on
http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windowsx...e/default.mspx
(continue demo by clicking on my tv and then you will see a guide for BBC
One appear)
Can someone please tell me whether MCE will work in the Uk and exactly which
features will not work. thanks for your help

Yes, the guide is available here in the UK - though it's sometimes not
as up-to-date as we'd like (e.g. for FreeView usage, Sky 3 still shows
up as Sky Travel)
