Hi All,

I have a problem with recorded TV programs. The duration of the recording
gets longer and longer according to the position bar. It seems to be related
to the number of days MCE 2005 running. I would like to explain it with an
example:
Restart PC. Goto Media Centre, record 10 minutes of live TV. Duration of
recording is 10 mins.
24 hours later (without PC restart) record 10 minutes of Live TV. Duration
of recording is 2 hours 20 minutes, according to the position bar. After 5
days the recording becomes 41 hours long, according to the position bar.
If I play back these files, they are all 10 minutes long when I watch them.
BUT on the position bar they are getting longer. This makes skipping
backwards and forward impossible. It seems the algorithm for skipping takes
into account the total duration of the recording, which is invalid.

Can this be codec related? I copied the files to several different PC, all
reporting the invalid duration of the recordings in the Property window.

If anybody has any ideas, please let me know.
