Unable to view higher channels

I am able to veiw the complete "channel guide", however I cannot actually
veiw the higher channels. I can vew all basic channels. I have a cable
digital box. Any ideas what I may have done wrong in my set up? Thanks

Are you taking the output of the cable box and inputting it into the tuner card?

You don't have to use the coax connection from your digital cable box to
your TT Tuner/video capture card. Instead you can use the S-Video and audio
out connections from your cable STB to your tuner card. This will give you
a significantly better quality picture than the coax connection.

True, that's really a pretty poor "easy setup" tutorial. Looks like there's been some significant revision to that section of the site.
