Is there an upgrade package available to upgrade Windows Media Center 2004 to
2005? I want to use the Create DVD functionality they added among other
things.

You'll need to check with your PC manufacturer. I got my ugrade from HP for
$10.

PC Manufacturers are no longer offering the upgrade.
That was available for a limited time only. Of course
it can't hurt to ask.
The only other option is to purchase MCE 2005 from
a retailer like newegg, and perform a clean install.

Unfortunately, it was Sony. I discussed it with them in on-line chat and got
no where with them. They said it expired in May 2005 for the free upgrade. I
think I am going to keep hounding them until they do.
Thanks for all the feed back everyone.
