Using mouse to access media center guide
Posted by Steve_Harebone on October 8th, 2005

I cannot access the guide using my mouse. With other tv tuners I've been able
to right-click in the window and scroll through channels, etc. The Dell media
center User's Guide on page 17 states that I should be able to click My TV,
then click Guide. My only options when I click My TV are:
1. Recorded TV
2. Lives TV
3. Movies
Can anyone help me resolve this so I can use the mouse to access the guide
and quickly switch channels without having to always use the remote?

Any help appreciated. Thanks, Steve

When you first set up your Media Center PC, did you tell it you wanted to use the Guide? Go to Settings, TV, Guide. If the Guide option isn't there, you'll need to re-run MCE setup again and tell it that you want to use the Guide service. To re-run setup, go to Settings, General, Media Center Setup.
