- Video playback problem on Mediacenter on PC with SIS 650 video chipset
- Posted by JP on January 7th, 2006
I havent been able to set succesful video playback on windows media center.
Movies played in media center are giving me blank screen, sound works
though.
The same movies played in WMP display just fine.
What is the problem here? is an other component used for video playback.
The sis 650 video has 64 MB shared memory.
I have no upgrade opportunities nor are there MCE drivers for this card, so
if there is a workarround,
i would like to know. Thank you very muts.

AFAIK the SIS chip does not have DX9 support which is required for video
with MCE.
