- Windows Media Center Crashing Frequently

When I am running the XP Media Center OS on my pc. While using the media
center program it frequently crashes, stops responding and not conecting to
the internet. The crash codes are 1 and 3. Often while using media center
the program freezes and has to be shut down using task manager. This is
especially problematic when i am trying to record TV and it freezes and
intrupts recording. Does anyone know what I should do to fix this problem?
It is not caused by viruses because the scanner is working and I have
installed every update. But the problems still persist.

Are your updates up-to-date? Be sure to check for an updated video driver.

Check for the latest MCE drivers from the card's manufacturer, not Windows
Update. I think the latest ATI driver is 5.9, and for nVidia 77.79.
