windows media center not responding

windows media center not responding: Posted by Mark and Bree Tassell on December 26th, 2007; I have an ASUS F3J series laptop with an 80Gb hard drive and 1Gb memory that
runs Windows Vista (32 bit) Home Premium.

Recently, each time I tried to run Windows Media Center, it slowed down
considerably and now will not run at all. It opens to the home screen of
Media Center and then freezes.

When I try to intiate Task Manager, nothing happens either.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem and can provide a
solution or fix?
