Updated my Windows XP to SP3. Everything went find until it rebooted. I now
have the following message...
STOP: c0000139 {Entry Point Not Found}
The procedure entry point GdiGetBitmapBitsSize could not be located in teh
dynamic link library GDI32.dll.
Please assist, RC

I had the same thing happen today. Automatic updates told me that sp3 was
available and i downloaded it and installed it with the exact same result as
below. I get the same message in safe mode so basically my machine is utterly
dead. I am going through the various hoops with Dell at the moment...
probably have to do a clean install - unbelievable.

I have the same issue except no cd drive to run a recovery operation. Is
there a fix for this that can be run from a usb flash drive?
