- Adding Workstation to 2000 Server
- Posted by Tdogg on October 15th, 2003
I am trying to add a NT workstation to a Windows 2000 Server network. I am using dhcp, and I can ping the server but cannot change to the domain of the server. It is telling me that the domain controller is not available. What can I do to add this computer to the network?

You may have tried this, but did you add the workstation
name to the domain controllers list before you tried to
join the domain from the workstation. In NT server, this
used to be in server manager, not sure about Win2K server
though!
but cannot change to the domain of the server. It is
telling me that the domain controller is not available.
What can I do to add this computer to the network?
