- Cannot join Win NT Server 2003 native domain
- Posted by sumesh on October 31st, 2006
My domain is in 2003 native mode and I've a Windows NT server which i need to
join to the domain. But when i join i'm getting error saying "Domain
controllers for this domain cannot be located". I've configured the DNS
entries correctly and I'm able to ping to the domain. Even NSLOOKUP to the
specified domain from this machine is showing all the domain controllers.
Please suggest whether any settings has to be done? Thanks in advance

Your domain must be in Mixed-Mode to support NT4. Unfortunately once you
switch to native mode, there is no way back.
Sorry
