yeah, sounds weird huh, here is the error I get in the
event viewer.

The Session Setup from the comuter (Computer name) failed
to authenticate. The Name of the account referenced in
the security database is (computer name with a $ after
it). The following Error Occured. Access Denied.

Here is the odd part, I can log on to the PDC (win NT 4.0
SP 6) with no problem can also get on the internet with
no problem, but I can't view its shared resources, and
cant ping it once logged it. I get time out errors or
host name can't be found errors.

I also have another computer that is acting as the
internet gateway for the network, I tried using DHCP,
DNS, from the PDC but it wouldn't work, so I added wins,
it still didn't work. So I set all the ip addresses
staticly with the gateway set to the computer with the
internet modem hooked up to it. that is how this problem
came about. any suggestions?
