the chkdsk command hang the cluster service
Posted by Fabian on October 13th, 2004

Hi, I have a MS cluster manager running over two NT 4.0 servers, and I have
a problem because with the chkdsk command, it is running automaticly and
alone and I don´t know why! The bad of these issue is that the cluster hang
the file server service and If I don´t answer when the command windows ask
me for if will like that the command run when the server startup the next
time the problem is permanently, therefore i see the event log and these is
one of the message "System Process - Lost Delayed-Write Data : The system was
attempting to transfer file data from buffers to
\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\. The write operation failed, and only some of
the data may have been written to the file" and are others that show the
\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\, even. Somebody Know if it should be a
problem in my disk or in the cluster service?

Thanks
