I've encountered a problem with a file on a Win2K profesional computer. I
had the FTP server on for a little bit with anonymous access because I
needed to give a friend access to my FTP server and I didn't want him to
have to deal with a password. During that time, someone else accessed the
FTP server and created a few folders that I can't seem to get rid of. The
person created a subfolder called "tagged" with a subfolder under that named
"by karamba666". It's the latter one of them that's causing the problem.
When I try to delete it, I get a message stating that it cannot read the
file from the disk. If I look at the properties of that folder, it's weired
too. The is no name showing up where it usually does. There is no tab for
security nor web sharing. If I try to change any proprties, e.g. make it
read only, it fails because it cannot find the file. If I try to just open
it like a normal folder, I get access is denied even though I'm an
administrator. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?
I've got antivirus running all the time, so I'm not too worried, but it's
annoying not to be able to remove it.
Thanks for any tips,
TK
