- Full Access Permissions Except Delete
- Posted by Aleemuddin Mohammed on October 11th, 2004
I have a question about setting permissions on a shared folder and
after much research and trying to find my answer, I thought about
asking this group. I am trying to give rights on a network shared
folder. I want the user's to have every access (including renaming
folders and creating new files, saving them) but I don't want them to
have delete access to the file or folder over the network. Is there a
way to do this? I have been playing around with NTFS and share
permissions but it doesn't seem to work for me. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
AM
