- Mapping Network drive on a server
- Posted by JK on July 2nd, 2003
I am trying to map to a network drive on a Windows NT
server for a user from a Windows NT desktop. The folder
has been given everyone [Full Permission] but this server
is on another domain. Also, I created a user account for
this user on this server and added this user account to
the folder permission list with full control to access
this folder. When the user tries to map to this folder
from her workstation, she gets either your password needs
to be changed or she gets too many connections to accept
any further connections message. Or incorrect password,
even though the password is correct. But, me as an
administrator can map to this folder using my own userid
and password. What can be the problem.
