- NT Continual Reboots after CHKDSK
- Posted by Steve on January 2nd, 2005
After running chkdsk/autorun for a bad sector, the server continually reboots
itself rigth when it gets to the login prompt.
How can I turn off the chkdsk routine at the blue screen stage?
This seems to be causing the continual reboots.
Thanks,
Steve

I'd like to get some more information from you.
1) What version of Windows are you running (Service Packs incldued)?
2) Does CHKDSK run each time after the reboot or is the Server in a basic
reboot loop (no CHKDSK)?
Thanks,
Peter
