Procedure Entry Point not found
Posted by Barbara I. on May 20th, 2004

Everytime I logon I get the following error message: "The procedure entry
point SHGets'pecialFolderPathA could not be located in the dynamic link
library Shell32.dll. This happened after I ran Ad-Aware and inadvetently
deleted some of my "Gator" files. I tried reinstalling Gator and Gator won't
reinstall. I think maybe the shell32.dll file is corrupt, but I can't
replace it while Windows is running.
Does anyone have any fixes for me - either to fix the error message, fix
Gator and/or replace the shell32.dll file.
Thanks.

Run ad-aware again and delete ALL of gator, it's spyware.
