- Terminal services - Copy and paste stopped working
- Posted by adeveloper on January 23rd, 2004
Hi,
We are running TS on a W2K adv server which we manage remotely. We do NOT
have the W2K res kit rdpclip utility for copying files installed - we just
have normal TS (W2K SP4). I normally use copy and paste a lot when working
with this server. Suddenly it has stopped working for no obvious reason.
Restarting the server doesn't help.
I have looked at previous posts on google groups and I have been through the
MSDN articles (there is one which instructions you to change the permissions
settings). However this has not helped.
I have tried launch rdpclip by double clicking on it but it doesn load...
Has anyone seen this before or do you have any idea how to fix it?
Grateful for any info
Pete

I've never seen it work without using Citrix. It will work if you take the
guts of document and then paste it into another document but simply copying
a file and pasting does not work. I would love to see someone make it work
but I have tried and tried and read all the articles......blah blah.....
