- Windows NT restarts when I (try to) shut it down

Every time I enter "Start->Shut down" and pick "shut
down", the system shuts down, I get a blue screen, and the
system restarts. When I ask the system to shut down, I
want it to shut down! I see in the FAQ a problem with
Windows XP that is similar but occurs only when DirectCD
is installed on your system and I don't have this software
installed.
