Hi,
My computer is running windows 2000 server and I m
having the weird problem with the winlogon.exe. After 5 - 10 mins as
the computer turning on it slows down and on opening task manager
I can see that winlogon.exe is hogging the processor by using 99% of
the resources and the mem usage also starts to increase. It last 1h
25min. After that time it stops and the system works normal except
when I turn off the system I have the error message "Abnormal
termination of winlogon.exe file". I used McCafee Antivirus and
Spybot software to remove everything possible, but problem remains.
