- Access database on server 03
- Posted by exchnewbie on May 11th, 2007
OK.. so I have not worked with access at all. Know Nothing about it.
Another in our office can use it and is creating a master database
for
parts ordering for our company, and master ocntact database
integrated
into it. I manage the server which is truly at this point strictly an
exchange server. on it, I have server 03, exch 03. the server is
large an powerful enough to be able to work this database as well as
the exchange.
we have a meager netowrk with 2 offices in different cities connected
via Hardware VPN. here is the kicker, all workstations use xp home.
Big question is how can I get this database to be housed on the
server
and then be access by office users?
any help is appreciated.

Probably best to split it and upgrade the back-end to Sql Server
